About Panda Buffet
Located at 333 Summit Square Ct, Winston-Salem, NC 27105, Panda Buffet operates as a chinese restaurant serving Winston-Salem in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Winston-Salem; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Panda Buffet at (336) 306-9704; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 43 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I posted photos to be 100% transparent. I have two daughters and today we visited Panda. I normally take them there 2-3 times a month because they like sushi and it’s close to where their mother resides. I have been a professional chef for over 20 years which has lead me to a lifestyle of avoiding buffets and eating out. In addition to that, I follow a strict OMAD lifestyle and I consume my only meal between 6-7. Needless to say I was very transparent about not eating ( which I have done several times before) and there hasn’t been an issue until today. I was charged 44 dollars for 3 meals and I didn’t eat, I didn’t even drink any water. I was told that the 18 dollars would be taken off the ticket (see receipt) in which I did the math with my 20% tip the amount should have come to 32.22. I was charged 44 and I’m sure my tip will come out later pushing my total to over 50 dollars and there was only a 9 year old and a 6 year old eating. It’s not about the money it’s about the principal for me. So you received an extra 20 something odd dollars and I’ll count that as a parting gift. UPDATE…They put a credit back on my account sometime this morning, I’m good with that. I can’t review giv

Ive been to many buffets across the country. This place is better then TinTin buffet as far as food quality, cleanliness and service which is also located in winston. However compared to others ive visited in md, dc, pa, las vegas, its "meh". Its good for winston. There are 5 tables of food, ramen, sushi, hibachi bar 1 dessert table and one table with a mix of fruit with , seafood, jello, sauces etc. There isnt a real salad bar which would be nice. The sushi is constantly being replenished. A handful of seafood options very few vegetarian options.

This is pretty bad Chinese food if I do say so myself, took my lunch break here and needless to say I think I’d rather go hungry then eat at this establishment. None of the food that’s out is hot( I’m servsafe certified) nothing in hot holding was at temp FORSURE, only things hot on the bar was soup chicken is old and crunchy and everything else is legit just cold if you can bring your own microwave maybe you solved some of the issues but the biggest is my coworker had got a piece of shrimp and it wasn’t even deveined like cmon this is a terrible establishment and I don’t recommend my worse enemy to eat here honestly.
